Who composed the Orange Blossom Special?
The straight "poop" from Gene Christian.
The noise you hear in the background is an old wood burning stove with an electric blower. Hey folks, this is country! On the left at the steel guitar is Carl Lambert. In the center of the vid you might notice "Bones" Becker trying to get some unwelcome critters out of his whiskers as he tenderly caresses his 1961 Fender P-Bass. Next comes Vera, one of Gene's daughters. And of course on the right is Gene himself.

Pickin' in the ole days. - Jan. 15, 2008
Listen and watch as Gene talks about how it was in the ole days. Move the furniture out! Roll up the rug! Pick, sing, and dance in the living room. Oh yeah, don’t forget the two buckets in the kitchen. You might notice Bones in the center. Yikes!!!! Surely he’s not pickin’ his nose??

A tribute to Benny Martin - Dec. 29, 2007
Along with Ervin Rouse, Benny Martin was one of Gene’s dearest friends. Benny wrote many great songs, but one of Gene’s favorites was Look What You’ve Done. Listen and watch as Gene sings this tune. Near the end of the tune Gene almost can not go on, so much emotion for his friend Benny.
